'...It's one thing for an eating disorder treatment center to pay lip service to the importance of long-term recovery. It's quite another for that facility to live up to its own standards. The truth is that many of the most high-priced eating disorder treatment centers in Los Angeles abandon their clients long before the healing process is complete. Unsurprisingly, these institutions generally fall far short of the promises they make in the advertising literature.

For recovery patients and their families, say Cliffside administrators, that sort of failure is unacceptable.
